The company(LPHT) has built a complete commercial breeding system that focuses on company as the mainstay, market-oriented, scientific design, rational division of labor, standard operation, streamlining, and resource sharing, and has established a world-class commercial breeding platform. There are 13 rice breeding stations, 13 corn breeding stations and 7 vegetable breeding stations in the main ecological areas of rice and maize in China and abroad. The total area of the base is nearly 7,000 mu. For rice, corn, cucumber, pepper, etc., a large-scale unified test evaluation platform has been established, which has become the largest and highest-level test system in the domestic seed industry.
LPHT has established a world-leading biotechnology platform, including the China Biotechnology R&D Center and the Brazilian Biotechnology R&D Center. China's biotechnology R&D centers include Tianjin Laboratories, Henan Jiyuan Laboratories, Hunan Changsha Laboratories and Huazhi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. LPHT has introduced several high-throughput automated large-scale liquefaction instruments, including automatic DNA extraction workstation and SNP genotyping instruments. LPHT R & D will focus on crop breeding, biotechnology, big data science, etc. to fully promote the collaborative innovation of various R & D platforms.
